   Hardwood floor refinishing involves sanding off the old finish and the surface layer of the wood to eliminate scratches, dings, and discoloration. It then requires sealing the floor before applying Polyurethane. 

Varnishing the Deck

Sand, Stain & Finish

   Staining is only necessary to change the color of the wood. Staining requires sanding first. Therefore, the process includes Sanding, Staining, and then adding 

Polyurethane.

   Got stairs? We also offer the option of refinishing a set of stair treads to match the rest of the flooring. However, we only refinish unfinished stair risers.
